About the Author

Ding-Hao Wang

Ding-Hao Wang is director of Mixed-Signal Div. in GlobalUnichip Corp. (GUC). He has over 20-year experience in research on mixed signal circuit, including A/D, D/A Converter, PLL, P.V.T. Monitor, HBM, and display SerDes. Prior to joining GUC, he focused on A/D, D/A Converter in Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS) from 2000-2004, and developed motor driver, video frond-end IC in Chip Advanced Technology (CAT) from 2004-2006. He joined GUC from 2006 and built up Mixed-Signal Division, In charge of high speed communication analog frontend (AFE), and fundamental mixed-signal IPs. DH received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Electronics Engineering and Institute of Electronics, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU).

Dr. Mark Po-Hung Lin

Dr. Mark Po-Hung Lin is a tenured professor of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan. He has over 20-year experience in research on EDA algorithms and IC design methodologies. He published over 60 papers with more than thousand citations. Prior to joining NYCU, he was a Humboldt Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) during 2013—2015, a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) during 2007–2009, and a Technical Manager at SpringSoft, Inc. during 2000–2007, which was acquired by Synopsys, Inc. in 2012. Dr. Lin received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Electronics Engineering and Institute of Electronics, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), which was merged into NYCU in 2021, and the Ph.D. degree from the Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU).
